Ephesians 2:10 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

We are God’s Masterpiece, artistic creation, crafted work made. We were made new and fashioned with purpose.

Psalm 139:13-16 For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.

Called to Good Works

• Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
• Titus 2:14 Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
• Philippians 2:13 For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

• Resist comparison with others – Gal 6: 4 – 5
